What learning to drive in G-11 is actually like

The G-series sectors and the branch sit on opposite sides of the Srinagar Highway, which is useful rather than inconvenient: a G-11 learner gets practice on both sides of it. Sector roads and the Markaz give you slow, controlled work — parking, three-point turns, reversing between cars — and the highway crossings and service roads give you the merging, lane changes and speed judgement that most new drivers in Islamabad are weakest at. We cover G-11 alongside G-10 Markaz and G-9, so if you live or work anywhere across those sectors the same instructor and the same pick-and-drop slot works.

G-11 learners are handled by our I-10 Markaz branch — Shaukat Plaza, Sohni Road, near Allied Bank, phone (051) 4445444. It is the closest of our two branches to the G-series sectors and it is the only one open on Sundays, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Do you cover G-10 and G-9 as well as G-11?
Yes. The same instructors and the same pick-and-drop service cover G-11 Markaz, G-10 Markaz, G-9 Markaz (Karachi Company), G-9/1 and G-9/4. Fees and course lengths are identical across all of them — where you live changes only the pick-up point.
Is a female instructor available for lessons in G-11?
Yes. Our I-10 Markaz branch has certified female driving instructors, and you can request one when you enrol. Combined with pick and drop from your own address in G-11, it means you never have to travel to the branch alone to take a lesson.
How much does a driving course cost in Islamabad?
Driving courses at King Driving School start from Rs. 14,000. Scooty and bike training starts at Rs. 14,000, Suzuki Mehran at Rs. 15,000, automatic cars (Alto Automatic and Daihatsu Mira) at Rs. 20,000, Suzuki Alto manual at Rs. 30,000, and the all-inclusive KDS Signature Plan at Rs. 60,000. A short theory session covers controls, road signs and traffic rules, then you drive daily on real Islamabad roads with a certified instructor. Timings are flexible, so you can take morning, afternoon or evening classes around work or study.
Do you provide pick and drop for driving lessons?
Yes. Pick and drop is available across Islamabad and the nearby Rawalpindi areas our PWD branch serves, so your lesson can start from your home or workplace instead of the branch. Tell us your address when you enrol and we will confirm the coverage and the daily timing.
